A tour is a collection of attractions. You can pick attractions in the app (there are hundreds there) or you can import a pre-created tour.

OrbiGuide has a Free plan that allows you to access all points in all cities, create multiple manual tours, generate three tours with AI, and access audio guides and texts. The Plus plan offers more credits to generate AI tours.

Yes, tours can be shared using a shareable link. People with the link can import your tour, creating a copy.

Can I add custom points to a tour?

Yes! You can add your hotel, restaurant, bar, or any place you want to your tours for strategic stops.

Will there be any touristic guide in person in my tours?

No. OrbiGuide helps you create self-guided tours so you can visit places at your own pace.

Do all points have audio guides?

Many points do, but it depends on the city and available information. All points do have informative text.

What languages are available?

OrbiGuide is currently available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Eiffel Tower

Here's something fun: the Eiffel Tower actually grows! Due to thermal expansion, it can be up to 15 centimeters taller in the summer. It's also been painted 19 times since it was built, using about 60 tons of paint each time. During World War II, when Hitler visited Paris, the French cut the tower's lift cables so he'd have to climb the stairs if he wanted to reach the top. And did you know there's a champagne bar at the summit? Talk about sipping bubbly with a view! Finally, the Eiffel Tower has inspired over 30 replicas around the world, from Tokyo to Las Vegas.

Belém Tower

The idea for a fortress near Belém was first proposed in the 15th century by King John II as part of a larger defensive system for Lisbon. However, the project was shelved until the reign of King Manuel I, when it was revived and redesigned by military architect Francisco de Arruda. Construction began in 1515 and was completed in 1519, just before the king's death. The tower was initially known as the Tower of St. Vincent, named after Lisbon's patron saint, and was intended to protect the city's harbor and mark the starting point of voyages for Portuguese explorers. Throughout its history, Belém Tower has witnessed significant events, including the surrender of its garrison to Spanish forces in 1580 and its use as a prison until the 19th century. The tower's dungeons housed prisoners, and its role shifted from defense to customs, telegraphy, and even as a lighthouse in the 19th century. Over time, the Tagus River receded, and the tower, once surrounded by water, became accessible from the riverbank. Despite these changes, Belém Tower has remained a steadfast symbol of Portugal's maritime legacy and its enduring connection to the wider world.

Colosseum

The Colosseum is an outstanding example of Roman engineering and architectural mastery. Its elliptical shape measures 189 by 156 meters and rises approximately 48 meters tall. The structure is composed of travertine limestone, tuff, and concrete, employing a complex system of barrel and groin vaults to support a massive seating area. The exterior features four stories of arches with engaged columns arranged by orders: Doric on the ground level, Ionic on the second, and Corinthian on the third, with a simple pilaster order decorating the attic. This tiered column arrangement became a template for Renaissance architecture. Inside, the arena floor was wooden and covered with sand to absorb blood. Below it lies the hypogeum, a maze of tunnels and cages that housed gladiators, animals, and stage machinery. The design allowed for efficient crowd management, with numerous entrances and exits to facilitate the movement of tens of thousands of spectators.
